- ABOUT: Hitting a volley cleanly is one of the most satisfying things you can do on a pitch as a player, and is equally as beautiful to watch. This piece was created as a means to highlight the balance between the grace of timing required to accurately hit a ball on the volley as well as the power required to make said strike effective.
There are some historical volleys in the beautiful game including ones hit by Wayne Rooney, Zlatan, Peter Crouch, the list goes on.
