- ABOUT: Only a few players are able to pull one out of the locker. A technique (made popular by Cristiano Ronaldo) that involves hitting the in a way to eliminate spin causing it to wobble and change direction mid air, confusing the goalkeeper. It’s quite difficult to hit these consistently but when one is struck, it mesmerizes everyone watching.
Funny story: When I was a lot younger, I was practicing this technique one summer day and ended up breaking a window at home. Safe to say that was my last time attempting it.
